The history of tea is long and complex, spreading across multiple cultures over the span of thousands of years. This class will introduce you to tea culture, the preparation and consumption of tea throughout the world. During the class we will drink many different varieties of white, green, oolong and black teas from China, India, Japan and other countries. Special attention will be given to the history and cross cultural significance of tea over the ages.
