You don't need a large yard to grow your own food. In this practical class, you'll learn how to successfully grow vegetables, tubers, fruits, leafy greens, and herbs in containers suited to North Florida conditions. Topics include soil selection, plant care, natural growing methods, frost and storm protection, harvesting techniques, and strategies for maximizing yields in limited spaces. A container planting demonstration is included. 
Great for gardeners, apartment dwellers, homesteaders, students, parents, retirees, and anyone interested in producing fresh food in small spaces. No sr waivers.
