The NASM CNC certification course module will teach you how to incorporate nutrition coaching and behavior change into your fitness instruction, as nutrition plays a key role in almost every aspect of the health and fitness industry. Beyond fitness instruction, many clients want to pick up healthy eating patterns and make long-term behavior changes. This industry-recognized certification proves that you understand nutritional science and behavior change strategies and can effectively coach clients.
The NASM WLS course module is relevant to the health and fitness industry, particularly weight loss. Weight loss is a serious subject that affects many people on a day-to-day basis. You will master the art of program design addressing an array of behavior change goals, learn how to create unique programs designed for specific client needs, and become an expert on avoiding weight loss obstacles. You will also learn to help clients anticipate and avoid the plateaus that come with weight loss and thoroughly explain diet cycles and the effects of dieting.
Completing this women's fitness and health course module and passing the exam will provide you with a specialization certificate. You will learn about the current status of women's health, neuromuscular, skeletal, cardiorespiratory, and endocrine considerations, hormones and weight control, pregnancy and postnatal considerations, and menopause considerations. Furthermore, you will review fitness assessments, flexibility training, cardiorespiratory training, core, balance, plyometric, SAQ training, resistance training, integrated program design, nutrition guidelines, psychological and motivational considerations, and business and professionalism.
Upon completing this women's fitness and weight loss specialist certification bundle and successfully passing your exams, you will be a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, and obtain your NASM Weight Loss Specialization, which are all part of NASM's Weight Loss Coach package.
